Wondering what a Craft Talk is like? Here’s some highlights from past webinars!

Allison K Williams is the author of Seven Drafts: Self-Edit Like a Pro From Blank Page to Book. She has edited and coached writers to publishing deals with Penguin Random House, Harper Collins, Knopf, Mantle, Spencer Hill, and St. Martin's Press as well as hybrid and independent presses.

Sharla Yates is the CRAFT TALKS Programme Director and previously director of education at the Creative Nonfiction Foundation where she ran a weekly webinar series and an online writing program. She is also a writing instructor and multi-genre writer.

Dinty W. Moore is author of the memoirs Between Panic & Desire and To Hell With It, and the writing guides Crafting the Personal Essay and The Mindful Writer, among other books. He has been published in Harpers, The New York Times Sunday Magazine, The Philadelphia Inquirer Magazine, Creative Nonfiction, The Southern Review, Kenyon Review, The Georgia Review, and Utne Reader, among numerous other venues.

Jane Friedman is a book publishing expert with 25 years of experience. She offers newsletters, classes, and a book on how to navigate the digital age as a writer.

Beth Kephart is a National Book Award finalist, a Pew Fellowships in the Arts grant winner, a National Endowment for the Arts grant recipient, a Leeway Grant winner, and a Pennsylvania Council on the Arts grant winner, among other honors; the author of more than three dozen books in multiple genres (memoir, middle grade novels, young adult novels, picture books, a corporate fairytale, an autobiography of a river); and a co-founder of Juncture Workshops.

A novelist, short story writer, and essayist, in recent years Peter Mountford has also become a popular writing coach and instructor with clients all over the world. His former clients and students have published widely, and include two recent New York Times bestsellers.
